Everyone is a kid at Fish Tales, Tugs & Sails, New London, CT's popular family event - a free nautically-themed festival promoting literature and the environment with nationally known children's authors and illustrators, entertainment, hands-on activities and more!

Lots of volunteer help is needed that day - please email Volunteer Coordinator Joanne Gibson to sign up!

8-10am: 12 volunteers needed for set-up: load sandwich boards, tables and a hospitality tent onto truck; unload at City Pier and set up

11am-5pm: Help at Hospitality Table (under a tent) in 2-hour shifts; welcome and direct attendees; hand out promotional materials; count attendees (with clicker)
11am-1pm: 2 volunteers needed
1-3pm: 2 volunteers needed
3-5pm: 2 volunteers needed

Children's Activities:
10am-6pm: Assist children in various activities (help to set up and break down as well)
10am-2pm: 12 volunteers needed
2-6pm: 12 volunteers needed

Vendors:
10am-6pm: Assist vendors as needed including set up and breakdown
10am-2pm: 4 volunteers needed
2-6pm: 4 volunteers needed

Authors:
10am-6pm: Assist authors as needed including set up and breakdown
10am-2pm: 2 volunteers needed
2-6pm: 2 volunteers needed

Entertainment:
10am-6pm: Assist entertainers as needed including set up and breakdown
10am-2pm: 2 volunteers needed
2-6pm: 2 volunteers needed

Parking attendants needed:
9:30am-1:30pm: 2 volunteers needed
1:30-5:30pm: 2 volunteers needed

5-7pm: 12 volunteers needed for breakdown including loading sandwich boards, tables and hospitality tent back onto truck for unloading at Main Street office
