Garde Arts Center

Southeastern Connecticut's regional center for the performing arts, the non-profit Garde Arts Center, founded in 1985, owns and operates the restored 1450-seat historic Garde Theater and the intimate 130-seat Oasis Room. The Garde presents Broadway tours, opera, contemporary music, dance, family events, film festivals, and the Eastern Connecticut Symphony. The gorgeous, Moroccan-styled movie palace is nationally recognized for its unique decor and its contribution to the cultural revitalization of New London.
