Dutch Tavern

A favorite of playwright Eugene O'Neill, the Dutch is New London's oldest tavern. The stamped tin ceiling and old-fashioned phone booth add to the Dutch's unique brand of charm. Dutch Tavern features a regular lunch menu until 3 pm. Regulars clamor for the cheeseburgers along with homemade soups, chili, sandwiches, and even pickled eggs - all at reasonable prices. Beer, wine, soft drinks "and all the daily papers" available.
