Starr Street

Starr Street, New London, CT
860-442-0003 Phone

Welcome to the neighborhood! This charming street is full of homes that were originally occupied by many middle-class families and even some single women and widows operating boarding homes. Starr Street is New London's first Historic District and lays claim to some of the finest preserved homes from the whaling era in New London. The homes vary in style, including Greek Revival, Colonial, and Federal. Many were built by the same carpenter, John Bishop, and all exhibit the unique character that New London neighborhoods continue to exhibit even today.
