A native New Londoner, Candace Devendittis was living in Boston when 9/11 happened, a life changing event for her. She decided to move back to New London to be near her family. Opening Dev's on Bank Street had been a life-long dream for Candace, fueled by the fact that she had spent most of her career working as a Food & Beverage Manager in several Boston hotels.

Her idea for a "Mediterrasian" Tapas theme of small dishes with flavors from both Spain and Asia was inspired by the years she spent living overseas in Spain, Taiwan and the Philippines with her mother Bunny (who also works at Dev's) and her father.

Dev's on Bank Street is a family affair. You'll find Candace working alongside her Uncle Paul and mother Bunny in the front of the restaurant, and if you look carefully, you might catch a glimpse of her cousin Rachel Devendittis, one of the Sous Chefs in the kitchen!

Candace invites you to come by and enjoy the Tapas Experience at Dev's- they offer a Tapas Tasting Menu on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 4 tapas and 1 glass of wine for $15, a Sunday Tapas Brunch from 11am to 3pm, and their Very Happy Hours Tuesdays through Saturdays from 3 - 6pm!
