Two music icons share the Garde stage. Richard Thompson: founder and leader of British folk-rock band Fairport Convention, has become one of music's the most distinctive of guitar virtuosos and composers, capable of breathtaking drama and sublime delicacy.

Singer-songwriter-renaissance man Loudon Wainwright III was touted as a new Bob Dylan when he began playing the folk circuit in the late 60's. His self-effacing wit and broad humor earned a cult following and, in 1972, the top 40 hit "Dead Skunk."

More than 20 albums of original material later he brings the musical sophistication gained over nearly four decades spent traversing music's blue highways.
