To celebrate a successful project launch, New London Main Street would like to invite the public to an Open Skate Community Party on Saturday, January 14, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The largest and most complex initiative that the organization has taken on, The Rink @ Parade Plaza officially opened on December 3 and will remain open daily through February.

Along with the cooperation and support of the City of New London, Main Street staff and volunteers have contributed hundreds of hours to make this project a reality. All ages have been enjoying the rink each week through various events and lessons offered.

This event is open to everyone. Free admission and skate rentals. Thames River Greenery & Beanery will provide free hot chocolate at their cafe, with cookies for sale.
